If you are finding the flame picture of your hob is not a steady blue flame, then it is an indication that your burner head needs replacing. The Burner Head rests on the main top of the stove and funnels the flow of gas from the burner tube to the top of the burner where it mixes with oxygen and then is ignited. If there is build-up of dirt on the burner head, this can affect the mixture of gas and oxygen, altering the flame picture.
Replacing the Burner Head will not only address this problem, but also refresh the appearance of you cooker so looks and functions as if it was new.
