How do I find the model number on my AEG Cooker?
The Data Plate on AEG cookers and ovens can normally be found by opening the main oven door. The plate is located on the right side, next to the door seal on the oven's body. On built-in hobs, the Data Plate can be found on the underside and is separate to the Data Plate on the oven.
On newer appliances there are two important pieces of information that you require; the Product Number and a Serial Number to correctly identify which model you have. The Serial Number is indicated by SN. We recommend that you use the Model or Product Number as part of your search term on this site to help you identify the parts that are suitable for you appliance.
On AEG cooking appliances, the model number is a combination of digits and characters. Example model numbers can look like:
Older appliances will have a gas council number displayed on the data badge usually indicated by GC or GCN. The GCN number will be represented by a 7 digit number, usually beginning with 11.
